ZF12 speed Gear One shaft Cover

This is the front input shaft cover (one shaft cover) for ZF 12-speed heavy-duty automated manual truck transmissions (ZF12AS series / TRAXON 12TX series AMT). It is mainly made of cast aluminum alloy, installed on the front end of the gearbox, enclosing the input shaft (1st shaft), input bearing and oil seal assembly. It provides structural support, positioning, sealing and oil retaining functions, prevents oil leakage, dust and water ingress, protects the input shaft bearing assembly, and ensures stable power input. It is widely used on European heavy long-haul tractors with ZF 12-speed AMT gearboxes, such as MAN, DAF, IVECO and Renault.

Application

Replace oil seals and gaskets during installation, tighten bolts to specified torque, check input shaft bearing clearance; test for oil leakage after assembly, avoid over-tightening bolts to prevent housing deformation.
