Application
For ZF 5-speed Ecolite gearbox overhaul and maintenance. Replace when gear teeth show pitting, chipping, excessive wear, cracking, or abnormal noise/jitter when driving in 5th gear, or jump-out-of-gear on highway cruise. Check bearings, mainshaft, synchronizer and oil quality during assembly; use specified ZF manual transmission oil; test full gear range operation after installation; avoid prolonged high-speed overload driving to reduce gear fatigue damage.
